Happy place.

We're delighted to offer another schedule of upcoming exciting art camp classes this summer!

Children ages 4 and up create projects with mixed media (watercolors, pastels, paint, tissue paper, colored pencils, etc.) while engaging with other students in a relaxed, fun setting!  Please pack a daily snack and smock for messy days. There is a minimum of 4 students per class, so please encourage a friend to join!

One-day Fashion Design and Mixed Media Art workshops, ages 8 and up:       Two sessions;   7/25 and 8/28            9:30am - 3pm, $90.

Join the collaboration of uber-talented NYC wedding gown designer Samantha Sleeper  ( www.samantha-sleeper.com ) and Billington Designs for a fun-filled day of fashion design and mixed media art in Lower Easton.  This is a rare opportunity to learn from an accomplished master in the bridal industry!   Minimum of 6 students.

Wednesday, July 25:  Nature Day:    Projects will include natural plant-based dyeing of fabrics, flower sketching and other activities incorporating organic materials while designing fashion inspiration boards.

Tuesday, August 28:  Stitched Fashion Camp:  Work on hand-sewing techniques and decorate your sewn item with paints and other embellishments.  Create your own wearable art just in time for Back to School!

Mixed Media, ages 6-9:          Two sessions:  July 30-3 (FULL) and August 20-24         9:30-11:30am, M-F $150.

Mobiles, foil embossing and collages – these are just a few of the dynamic projects children will create.

Little Leonardos, ages 4 and 5:           August 6-10        9:30-10:30am, M-F $75.

These one hour sessions are perfect for nursery school children. Little ones will learn about artists including Georgia O'Keeffe, Eric Carle, Pablo Picasso, Henri Rousseau and Gustav Klimt while drawing, painting and assembling with glue.

Printmaking Workshop: ages 8 and up:         August 27            9:30am-3pm, $90.

Grab that smock and start rolling out monoprints using a variety of printing techniques – we'll explore linoleum and gelatin blocks, as well as melting wax and glue for relief prints.  A really fun day of experimentation!
